High-end copolymer work beyond EVA
In April 2026, Shenghong reported that Hongjing had completed EBA trial research and was advancing a 50,000-tonne-per-year high-end copolymer facility that includes EBA.
The disclosed research focus is ethylene-acrylate copolymer for semi-conductive shielding materials used in high-voltage cable systems.
